West Coast Mennonite Men’s Chorus
WCMMC commissioned design services for their entire 2024 Concert Series. Baroness Design Shop was privileged to design their full spread of promotional materials, including social media promotionals, PowerPoint slides, the Chorus Program, and the “We Sing Hallelujah” CD cover art.
CD Cover Art
Design process for this project involved the creation of a custom vector art cover image. All artwork was created from scratch without reference. The client group was extremely pleased with the outcome even though it was vastly different from previous years’ works.
Chorus Program
The Chorus Program represented a significant design departure from previous years. The client group had requested a full-color design with modern typefaces throughout to create a design that really propelled them fully into “the 21st century.” Notably, the client also sought to feature QR codes throughout the Program. The eight page project took several weeks to create and revise, with a prior year’s program being used for layout/content reference.
Impossible Services Group
Business promotional insert (quarter page), featuring custom vector graphics. This advertisement was printed in grayscale. As such, the design leverages positive and negative space with contrasting text in order to create information separation and draw the eye from top to bottom with ease. The client was thrilled with the print outcome after publication.
Castle Air Museum
Working on the promotional posters for Castle Air Museum have been some of Lou’s favorite continuous design projects. Each poster features custom vector art, built from scratch or reference. The Castle posters evolve with each event, commemorating a variety of historical aircraft that can be found onsite at the Castle Air Museum. Each poster is unique in its use of color, font, and space, ensuring that event promotions reach a diverse group of customers with fresh design elements, piquing their interest and appealing to their nostalgia of aviation eras passed.
